We at Gesher Shalom believe that Messiah Yeshua is the Light of the world. As we seek to be conformed to His image, it is our responsibility to be His light in our world. We are blessed to be entrusted with imparting this message to our children, the next generation of leaders.

Our children study the Parasha (Torah portion) every Shabbat through a wonderful Messianic curriculum that teaches them the words of Ha Shem and incorporates the words of Yeshua. This gives them a scriptural application so they can always be ready with a word to share with their family and friends who do not know the L-rd. The children also study and take part in the Feasts of the L-rd throughout the year.

We are blessed to have many teachers who plan wonderful activities, such as art projects, skits and demonstrations to go along with the lesson each Shabbat. The children spend time in prayer before and after class, which includes praying for each other’s needs.
We prefer that the children remain in the service so they may participate in the Praise, Worship, Dance, and Liturgy. They are dismissed to their class during the Rabbi’s message.

Our classroom age groups are 0 – 4 yrs. for Nursery; 5 – 7 yrs; 8 – 12 yrs; and 13 – 17 yrs. We look forward to having you with us at Gesher Shalom.

Gesher Shalom's Dance Ministry exists to plant a seed in the hearts of those who wish to know the Messiah through dance. We encourage true praise and worship in order to expose others to the presence of G-d through His Ruach HaKodesh. The Dance Ministry strives to equip members of all dance levels to exalt the L-rd through workshops. Finally, we offer our talents with joy and service to the kingdom and honor of G-d held each Shabbat after services for regular attenders of the Congregation.
The Gesher Shalom Praise & Worship Group incorporates Davidic style Messianic music with other contemporary styles of worship at our Friday and Saturday services, in order to usher in the presence of G-d, and allow the congregation to experience the love of Messiah Yeshua.
The goal of the Gesher Shalom College and Career group is that our lives be marked by wisdom at a young age. We want to reflect the advice given in 1 Timothy 4:12, which says, "Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." Our goal is to care for one another and strengthen one another's faith, as "iron sharpens iron" (Proverbs 27:17). We do so through weekly Bible studies and monthly prayer meetings. The focus on our spiritual maturity will attract others to experience G-d through our love and this ministry.

The Women’s Prayer Group helps support the vision and mission of Gesher Shalom with fervent and effectual prayer. We also pray for the protection and salvation of the whole House of Israel. We pray for each other’s needs, and help to bear one another’s burdens. We believe that a strong women’s prayer group fills a need to nurture love and support for women so that they may fulfill their calling. We meet every Monday night at 6:30 pm at the Santuary of Gesher Shalom. All women who are part of our Congregation are welcome.

The Men’s Intercessory Prayer Ministry of Gesher Shalom seeks to imitate Yeshua, our Messiah, as He was a leader in prayer. We desire to be those who would stand in the gap, lifting up the individual and corporate needs of our community, and ushering in the Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit). The prophet, Samuel, in 1 Sam. 12:23, stated: “Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you.”
All men who attend regularly to our Congregation are welcome. We meet on Monday night at 6:30 p.m., at the synagogue.

Singles Over 40 is a vibrant singles’ fellowship of Gesher Shalom; a “family within a family”, and we strive to create an environment in which attendees feel loved and supported in our faith. Legally single adults, age 40 and up, wo attend the Congregation are welcome. For details about upcoming events, please obtain a calendar at the synagogue, or check the calendar at www.geshershalom.com.

The Gesher Shalom Couples’ Club meets from time to time in someone’s home and all married couples, who attend the Congregation are invited. We share good food, good fellowship, testimonies and life experiences and, along with teaching nuggets from Rabbi and Rebbitzen concerning marriage, we have loads of fun! Also, we celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. In the process, we all get to know each other better and forge strong bonds of love and friendship.

Club Maccabee is a specially designed program to teach children the truths of Scripture in a fun Jewish environment. Maccabees help to build fellowship with lessons, prayer, games, snacks, and activities. Intended for 1st-6th grade the children get T-shirts, Key Rings to hold memory verses and Hebrew words. Like the Maccabees of Jewish history, we want children to learn to stand up for God and the traditions of their forefathers.

We accept new clothing with tags, and monetary donations which we send to Bless Israel.
We collect non-perishable food items for the care of those in our Congregational family who are in need.
